Description
Hands-on Test Manager who also acts as Scrum Master for a new JLR backend team of 4 engineers. Not
people-management: builds automated tests yourself and runs team's agile ceremonies. Services talk via Kafka events -
no compile-time safety across service boundaries; strong integration + contract testing central. Stack: Java/Spring Boot
3.x, REST, Confluent Kafka (topics, ACLs, Schema Registry), Avro, AsyncAPI, GKE, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Test plans + strategy ownership
• Scrum Master experience: run team's ceremonies + hands-on testing
• Jira + PlanView (JLR's delivery tools)

• GitLab CI (pipeline owns mutation testing, Snyk, checkstyle gates)

• Mutation testing (PITest) - already wired in CI
• Observability: Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace
• Liquibase (schema change validation + rollback)
